  Team “Big Daddy” wanted to thank your company for all that you did to support our display entry in CrackerJacks competition this past weekend.  We also wanted to share some technical information about your systems.

 

  For those not familiar with the situation, our team realized that we lost our SmartFire transmitter the day before a major display.  We woke Dave Lavoie out of bed asking him if a local display company may have a transmitter we could borrow.  Dave was calm and simply said, “There will be one at your hotel tomorrow morning”.  He came through on that promise.

 

  A last second addition to our display had 29 cues in series, followed 1/10 of a second later by 36 cues in series.  We doubted that the SmartFire, rated at a max of 10 cues in series per pin could handle this especially in such quick succession.  We put this on a wireless module about 200 feet from the display.  When the time came, we heard 2 distinct thumps from the lift charges and we got 100% ignition.

 

  Not only did we win the competition, we received the highest score ever given in a CrackerJacks display competition.  In five minutes, we fired 420 e-matches on 122 cues using 3 SmartFire Wireless modules and 4 regular modules.

 

  Although it was the smallest show thus far, this is now our 15^th show on one of our PyroMate systems.  They have been consistently reliable and your customer service is unmatched.  Thank you for all of your help over the past 4 years.
